Gary Edmund Miller, 67, of Bandera Texas, went to heaven on Saturday, May 5, 2018.
Gary was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Robert E. and Dorothy (Birlingmair) Miller on Dec. 7, 1950. He attended Kennedy High School and graduated from Kirkwood with an AAS degree in 1972. Gary was gifted in the fields of physics, math, electronics, computer technology and photography. The last 13 years he worked for Clint Orms Silversmiths in Ingram, Texas, as shop manager, machinist, CNC programmer and computer technician.
Gary is survived by his wife of almost 35 years, Irene (Pene-Fiocca) Miller, Bandera; siblings, Norman Miller, Quasqueton, Steven Miller, Hiawatha, Traci (Don) Nelson, Palo, Terri (Michael) Garcia, Pueblo, Colo., and Jill Curtis, Fairfax; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins.
Gary was known for his positive spirit, great sense of humor, patriotism, love of Texas, and a strong faith in the Lord. He will be missed by all.
A graveside service in Iowa is pending for July.
