Thomas L. Miller, 81, of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018, in Cedar Rapids. Private services will be held at a later date.
Tom was born Nov. 15, 1937, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Ross and Ruth Miller. Tom graduated from Franklin High School in 1956, was a veteran of the U.S. Army and married Patricia (Palmer) Miller in 1959 in Killeen, Texas. Throughout his life, Tom worked at Lincoln Mercury, Allen's Imports, Hall's Photo, Town's Edge Auto & Cycle and Rockwell Goss. Tom's biggest passions in life were his family and fishing.
Tom is survived by his wife, Patricia Miller; his son, Michael Lee Miller (Sue Gerth) of Cedar Rapids; his daughter, Stephanie Miller (Emanuele Maiorano) of Trieste, Italy; his sister, Donna Wiley of Cedar Rapids; and countless family and close friends.
The family would like to thank Dr. MaryAnn Nelson for her kindness, compassion and care of Tom.
