Kevin D. LeMaster, 61, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, Dec. 6, 2020, at his home in Clive. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. We encourage friends and extended family to share their sympathies with Kevin's family using online condolences available on the

Kevin was born Dec. 21, 1958, in Newton to Dale and Shirley (Monroe) LeMaster. Kevin was a kind and gentle soul, an artist whose work radiated with color and light (and sometimes ghoulish humor). He was a publisher by trade and a host to all, pulling out food, drinks, and his devilish humor to all who graced his table. He will be deeply missed but his love and lore will live on.
Survivors include his partner of 36 years, Jim Flansburg; mother, Shirley of Denver, Colo.; sister, Linda (Matt) Buchenau of Parker, Colo.; brother, Doug of Cedar Rapids; and many nieces and nephews.
Kevin was preceded in death by his father.
