Cal Thomas need to go

It's time to be rid of the rantings of syndicated columnist Cal Thomas. On July 26, he assured readers that Joe Biden will take away our guns, which is hopelessly laughable because that claim has been made about every Democrat this century, and it has not even come close to being true. On Aug. 2, Mr. Thomas accused the Black Lives Matter movement of having outlandishly radical goals, being led by Marxists, and possessing principles consistent with those of the former Soviet Union. Although I enjoy a diversity of opinion, I am concerned that people tend to believe a syndicated columnist and would be less likely to call him out for writing the rubbish that he does. His mistaken perceptions and embarrassingly slanted opinions do not belong anywhere in The Gazette.
