Ann Kirkpatrick Shires, 79, of Iowa City, died Monday, July 28, 2014, at her home. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1, at Lensing Funeral Service in Iowa City. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Oakland Cemetery in Iowa City.
