Mineart, Leroy F.

Leroy F. Mineart, 91, of Brighton, died at 4:15 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010, at Halcyon House in Washington. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, at St. Joseph and Cabrini Church in East Pleasant Plain, with the Rev. Charles J. Fladung officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, East Pleasant Plain. Visitation at the church will open at 4 p.m. Friday, with the family present from 5 to 8 p.m. and prayers for a Christian Wake held at 7 p.m.
Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Kathryn; sons, Ed of Muscatine, Paul of Payson, Ariz., and Mike of Walford; daughters, Rosemary Pacha of Brighton, Susan Seglie of Pittsburg, Kan., and Chris Turnipseed of Moline, Ill.; 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Memorials to St. Joseph Cemetery may be left at the church or mailed to the family at 1022 Spruce Ave., Brighton, IA 52540.
