Burmeister, Lloyd Henry
Lloyd Henry Burmeister, 85, of Tipton, formerly of Clarence, died Sunday, May 26, 2013, at Cedar Manor Nursing Home. Services: 11 a.m. Friday, May 31, at Clarence United Methodist Church with Pastor Carol Mart officiating. Burial: St. John's Cemetery at a later date with graveside military rites by VFW Post 2537 and American Legion Post 123. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Chapman's in Clarence.
Survivors include his wife, Fannie of Tipton; four daughters, Bonnie Burmeister of Stanwood, Barbara (Eugene E.) Kula of Anamosa, Beverly (Donnie) Dawson of Clarence and Brenda (Denny) Snow of Tipton; a son, Bobby (Kelly) Burmeister of Clarence; brother, Dale Burmeister of Clarence; two sisters, Shirley (Harlan) Meyer of Stanwood and Kennethea Meier of Clarence; 13 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, one grandson, two infant sisters and a daughter-in-law.
