Brenda Kay (Berns) Rodenberg, 42, passed away Jan. 28, 2014, at Palmer
Lutheran Health Center in
West Union.
She is survived by her son, Blake Rodenberg of Elkader; her parents, Gary and Carol Berns of Elkader; her siblings, Greg (Heather Berns) of Elkader, Julie (Bob) Frieden of Elgin and Brian Berns (Hillary) of Dover, Del.;
nieces, Isabella Moore, Kyella Frieden and
Gabriella Berns; nephews, Trey Frieden, Dawson Berns, Broden Frieden and Garrett Frieden; grandmother, Velma Berns of Elkader; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins; and her special friend, Bill Mihm.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ella and
Herman Blume; and her
paternal grandfather,
Herbert Berns.
