Moncrief, Pauline R.
Pauline R. Moncrief, 91, of West Ridge Care Center, died there Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012. Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. The Rev. Bob Dagit will officiate. Burial: Cedar Point Cemetery, Center Point. Friends may call at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
Survivors include five nieces, including Katrena (Steve) Hynek of Fairfax, Dixie (David) Mitchell of Marion, and Robin (Mike) Cimprich of Cedar Rapids; and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Dorothea Wilcox; brother, George William Glass; nephew, Dick Glass; and a sister-in-law, Norma Jean Clark.
Pauline was born Sept. 16, 1920, in Center Point, the daughter of Robert and Elma (Rogers) Glass. She married Robert J. Moncrief on July 11, 1950, in Iowa City. He died in 1986.
Pauline retired from Rockwell Collins in 1978 after 35 years of service. She attended Sharon United Methodist Church and was a volunteer at St. Luke's Hospital where she crocheted booties and hats for newborn babies.
She enjoyed, crafts, feeding the birds and squirrels, tending her flowers and spending time with her husband Bob and their family and friends at their cabin.
Memorial donations may be given to Sharon United Methodist Church.
