Schluter, Donald 'Don'
Donald “Don”Schluter, 87, of Blairstown, died Sunday, Dec. 6, 2009, at his home. Funeral services: 10 a.m. Friday, Grace Lutheran Church, Blairstown. Burial: Koszta Cemetery, rural Marengo. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo. A memorial fund has been established.
---- Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; three sons, Donald, David and Daniel, all of Blairstown; two daughters, Darlene Lenoch also of Blairstown, and Dorene Wilcox (Kenneth) of Marshalltown; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Dale Schluter of Belle Plaine.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Anna Schluter; two sisters, Darlene Brecht and Frances Louisa Schluter in infancy; a brother, Albert Schluter; and a grandson, Brandon Collins.
