Artelle L. Voelker, 97, of Laurie, Mo., formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015, at Laurie Care Center. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Cedar Rapids. The family will greet friends from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday morning. Burial: 1:30 p.m. at Stanwood Cemetery.
Survivors include daughters, Diane Wilcox of Sunrise Beach, Mo., and Dawn Uelze of Lawrenceville, Ga.; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Melvin; son-in-law, Lanny Wilcox; and brother, Berdell.
Artelle was born Oct. 30, 1918, in Mechanicsville, Iowa, to Willard and Edith (Wilson) Maley. On May 24, 1941, Artelle married Melvin Voelker. She graduated from Morley High School and Cedar Rapids Business College.
