Ronald Ormal Williams, of Des Moines, formerly of Cedar Rapids, slipped into eternal rest with Jesus at 11:45 a.m. Nov. 7, 2016. A memorial will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at Immanuel Baptist Church, 1900 F Ave. NW.
Ron was born Jan. 31, 1956, in Cedar Rapids, a son of Ormal W. and Patricia Jeanne Williams. He was a 1974 Washington High School graduate.
Surviving are his children, Jeffrey Sutton of Florida and Nikki Williams of Des Moines; his father, Ormal of Cedar Rapids; siblings, Judy Bachman of Tucson, Ariz., Cindy LaPeer, Huong Nguyen and Diem Nguyen, all of Houston, Mike Williams and Kristen Smith, both of Cedar Rapids, Kim Nguyen and Hieu Nguyen, both of Des Moines, Da Nguyen of Joplin, Mo., and Van Pham of California; and significant other, Alice.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Ron had many friends and family who will miss him very much.
