Ruddell, Peggy (Richards)

Peggy (Richards) Ruddell, passed away peacefully at her home in Murrieta, Calif., after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 74 years old. A private family ceremony will be held at a later date.

Peggy is survived by her husband of 40 years, Dr. Mel Ruddell; her children, Linda (Ron) Gillum, Yellow Springs, Ohio, Pam Greene, Marengo, Teresa Brown, Fallbrook, Calif., Sharon (John) Boyer, Victorville, Calif., Diana (Don) Dale, Tacoma, Wash., Cindy (Ralph) Latz, Fort Smith, Ark., and Clinton (Dawn) Richards, Fallbrook, Calif.; stepsons, Dwight (Ann) Ruddell and Brent Ruddell; and siblings, Pat (Bill) Halter, Ackley, Jim (Linda) Lundsford, Tulsa, Okla., Terry (Sharon) Lundsford, New Mexico, Mike (Peggy) Lundsford, Illinois, and Gary (Sue) Lundsford, Sacramento, Calif. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.

Peggy loved gardening, crocheting and entertaining with family and friends. She was loved by so many and touched the hearts of everyone she knew. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
