Mitchell, James Frank
James Frank Mitchell, 74, of Tama, passed away Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011, at the Mayflower South Village in Grinnell, under the care of Grinnell Regional Hospice, due to complications from Lewy Body Dementia. Jim's remains were donated to the Deeded Body Program at the University of Iowa. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Living Faith United Methodist Church in Tama, with Pastor Brian Oliver officiating. Friends may call at the church beginning at 1 p.m. Tuesday until the time of service.
Survivors include his, wife Nancy of Tama; eight children; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mary Mitchell Brown of Phoenix, Ariz.
