Lazenby, Bill
Bill Lazenby, 50, died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012, at his residence following an extended illness. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 2, at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church in Van Horne with the Rev. David Lingard officiating. Interment will be held at the Keystone Cemetery in Keystone. Visitation also will be held at the church from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday.
A memorial fund has been established.
Bill was born April 13, 1961, at Center Point, to William and Judy (Ament) Lazenby and graduated from the Center Point High School in 1979.
On Aug. 21, 1982, he was united in marriage to Teresa Dake at Center Point.
Bill was employed as a carpenter with Garling Construction Inc. in Belle Plaine and was a member of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church in Van Horne.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa of Keystone; his sons, Zach of Van Horne, and Luke of Keystone; his daughter, Brittany (Rob) Miller of Atkins; his grandson, Reilly; his brothers, Rick Lazenby of Vinton, and Patrick Lazenby of Safford, Ariz.; and his half brothers, Kevin Lazenby of Cedar Rapids, and David Lazenby of Vinton.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents.
Phillips Funeral Home in Keystone is in charge of arrangements.
