Hegland, Lila L.
Lila L. Hegland, 77, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2011, in her home. Services: 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 25, at River of Life Ministries, 3801 Blairs Ferry Rd. NE, by Pastor Brian Fink. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her children, Leslie (Lonny) Bartholomew of Seattle, Wash., Dave Hegland of Cedar Rapids and Tarie Hegland-O'Reilly of Cedar Rapids; her brother, Steve (Shirley) Williams of Mount Pleasant; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Lila was preceded in death by her parents; and two children, Michael and Ed.
Born April 26, 1934, in Keosauqua, Iowa, Lila was the daughter of Everett and Lillian Ratliff. She graduated from Keosauqua High School and then served her country in the United States Air Force. Lila retired from Cherry Burrell.
