MATTHEW P. "MATT" WALKER
North Liberty
Matthew P. "Matt" Walker, 47, of North Liberty, chose to end his life Tuesday evening, March 7, 2017.
His family will greet friends Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. at St. Mary's Auditorium in Oxford. A celebration of Matt's life will begin at 4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to an educational fund which will be established to benefit Mitchell and Macie Walker. Lensing Funeral Service in Iowa City is handling arrangements.
Matt is survived by his wife, Mona; his children, Mitchell Walker and Macie Walker, both of North Liberty; his mother, Betty Walker of Wisconsin; brothers and sisters, Bruce Walker of Arizona, Jim Walker of Iowa City and David Walker of North Liberty; sisters, Bee Johanns of Utah, Julie Hutchinson of Wisconsin, Lora King of Missouri, Sara Woody of Minnesota and Diane Harrington of North Liberty; and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
