Smith, Janet Lynn
Janet Lynn Smith, 58, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, May 1, 2011, at Manor Care from breast cancer. There will be no services per Janet's request. Teahen Funeral Home is serving the family.
Janet is survived by her family, Wendy, James, Catherine and William Orr of Cedar Rapids.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents.
Janet was born Sept. 15, 1952, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Frank and Mary Smith. She worked at Hy-Vee at the meat and cheese island for 23 years.
Janet loved animals and listening to Sunday morning polka music. She enjoyed spending time with Catherine and Will and being a part of their lives.
