Sarah Carol (Orr) Null, 92, formerly of Onslow, died at Shady Rest Care Center in Cascade on Wednesday, April 4, 2018. She was born to Alva and Averill (Stickley) Orr on Dec. 25, 1925. She received her education in country school and graduated from Onslow High School.
On Nov. 15, 1942, she married Marvin "Dutch" Null in Westmoreland, Kan. They lived in Onslow their entire married lives and together raised their three children.
She was an employee of the Onslow Savings Bank and was proud of the accomplishment to become the executive vice president. Carol loved to dance and golf, and was known for baking pies.
A luncheon will be held at Onslow Presbyterian Church on Sunday, April 22, at 1 p.m. to reminisce about days gone by. Following her wishes, there will be no visitation or service.
She is survived by her children, Paul (Julie) Null and Sue (Steve) Eganhouse; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; a sister, Doris Jeanne Herren; sisters-in-law, Ruth Orr and Shirley Orr; and a dear friend, Allan Poppe.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dutch Null, on April 16, 1990; her firstborn, Marvin Null Jr., on March 6, 1997; four brothers; and two sisters.
