Kelley, Jack
Jack Kelley, 88, of Iowa City, formerly of Chariton, died 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013, at Walden Place in Iowa City. Memorial service will be in late May 2014.
Survivors include his sister, Marilyn Kelley; daughters and sons, Mary Lou, Marie, Michele, Kevin, Patrick, John, Steve, Joe and Todd; and grandchildren, Kelley, Erin, Kathleen, Shannon, Joshua, Steven, Daniel and Jack.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Roma; his wife, Rose; his daughter, Joan; son, Michael; and brothers, Robert, Jerry and Tom.
Jack Kelley was born Nov. 26, 1924, in Chariton, Iowa. He lived in Des Moines, Marshalltown and Iowa City. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He worked at RCA and Sears as a TV technician, loved singing and fishing.
