Sue Elizabeth Knight, 77, of Marion, formerly of Washington, Iowa, died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2015, at
St. Luke's Hospital following a sudden illness. Services at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 4300 Trailridge Rd. SE, Cedar Rapids. Burial at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday.
Survivors include her loving husband, Dean; three daughters, Kaye (Mark) Cronshaw of Batavia, Ill., Sherri (Doug) Martin of Marion and Jen Knight of Tooele, Utah; two sons, Steve (Michelle) of Roosevelt, Utah, and David (Chris) of Omaha, Neb.; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Amy (David) Camp; and two brothers, Rex (Diane) Tucker and Lee (Leah) Tucker.
Sue was born on April 15, 1937, to Bernard and Rebecca (Williams) Tucker. She attended school in Denmark, Iowa, and married Dean Knight in 1958 in Burlington. Sue was a graduate of the University of Iowa and worked her entire career as a nurse in both the Washington and Iowa City areas. She loved her family, hosting gatherings for family and friends, spending time with her grandchildren, playing cards, and traveling with Dean throughout the United States in her camper.
A memorial fund has been established in Sue's name (please, no flowers).
