PHYLLIS IRENE LYTLE

Phyllis Irene Lytle was born Feb. 1, 1932, in Oskaloosa, Iowa, the daughter of William and Maude (Bagley) Zern. She grew up and graduated from high school in Oskaloosa, and later completed her CNA training. Phyllis moved to Cedar Rapids, where she worked for Collins Radio for a number of years before she moved to Portland, Ore. She was united in marriage to Orville Lytle on Jan. 31, 1976, in Oregon. After Orville's death, she moved back to Iowa. Phyllis enjoyed dancing, listening to music and doing word search puzzles. Phyllis passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018, at the Highland Ridge Care Center in Williamsburg, at the age of 86 years.
She is survived by a sister, Marilyn Allgood of Oxford; two brothers, Richard and Wayne Zern; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and five brothers, Steve, Leo, Charles, James and Raymond Zern.
