Sherwood, James L.
James L. Sherwood, 76, of Belle Plaine, died Monday, Aug. 17, 2009, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids following a lingering illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Hrabak Funeral Home. Burial: Oak Hill Cemetery with military rites. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife, Norma; stepmother, Lois Sherwood of Belle Plaine; sons, Randy (Bonnie) of Van Horne, Scott (Sondra) of Belle Plaine, David (Ellen) of Chelsea and Chad (Kris) of Atkins; brother, Charles (Joy) of Eldridge; six grandchildren; and three step-grandsons.
