DeLoris Wickham, 94, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2016. Private burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her children, Connie Robinson of Cedar Rapids and Michael (Melissa) Wickham of Cedar Rapids; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Eleanor Wickham of South Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leon, on Oct. 6, 1988; son, Robert Wickham; brothers, Herbert J. (Marcell) Trapp and Robert (Eunice) Trapp; and son-in-law, William Robinson.
DeLoris was born Nov. 16, 1921, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Herbert A. and Hazel (Gallagher) Trapp. In 1940, she graduated from Roosevelt High School in Cedar Rapids. She was united in marriage on Aug. 16, 1940, to Leon Wickham. She passed away on what would have been their 76th anniversary. DeLoris was an auditor for Montgomery Ward and Armstrong department stores, from where she retired at the age of 62. Most importantly, she was very proud of her family.
