NORMA L. HENDRICKSON

Norma L. Hendrickson, 90, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, Oct. 27, 2017. Services: 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 30, at Bethany Lutheran Church, where visitation will begin at 10 a.m. The Rev. Michael Erickson will officiate. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors include a daughter, Heidi (Michael) Probasco; and two sons, Nicholas and Anthony Silkebakken.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank, and son, Timothy (both in 2016); and sister, Eleanor Zagel.
Norma was born Jan. 13, 1927, in rural Boone County, Iowa, the daughter of Hilda and Theodore Schueler. She married Frank Hendrickson on July 25, 1953, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
She was a faithful member of Bethany Lutheran Church for over 64 years. She served many years in the work of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League and was a Sunday school teacher. She enjoyed her years spent volunteering at St. Luke's Hospital.
The family would like to thank all the staff at Keystone Cedars Assisted Living and St. Luke's Palliative & Hospice care for the loving care and support given to Norma and her family.
Memorial funds may be directed to Bethany Lutheran Church.
