Darwin Beers, 76, of Dubuque, passed away Monday, March 18, 2019. There will be no memorial services per his request.
Darwin Theodore Beers was born Nov. 7, 1942, to Robert and Carol (Carmer) Beers in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Darwin graduated from Washington High School and Kirkwood Community College. He was employed by Wilson Packing, Iowa Manufacturing and retired from Quaker Oats.
Darwin is survived by his daughter, Teresa (Keith) Beers-Wesolowski of Genesee, Wis.; son, David Beers of West Allis, Wis.; stepmother, Sara Spencer Beers of Solon, Iowa; and half-sisters, Nancy (Stephen) Anderson of Florida and Robin (Jeff) Ruzicka of Solon, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Robert G. Beers.
