Letter: Couple grateful for generosity

On Nov. 11 my husband and I were enjoying dinner at MJ's in Marion. A young mother and her daughter were sitting across from us and we exchanged greetings. When my husband requested our check from the waitress she informed us that the young mother had taken care of it.
When we thanked the young mother and tried to pay her for our dinner, she smiled and said 'pay it forward and that is all the thanks I want.” We will certainly do that and encourage others to do the same. Makes for a great feeling.
