Roslyn "Rose" Payn, 67, of Belle Plaine, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2016, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids, due to sepsis leading to liver failure.
Memorial services are 4:30 p.m. Monday, March 21, at Hrabak Funeral Service in Belle Plaine. Visitation will be an hour before the service, at 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the family.

Roslyn Ann was born Nov. 3, 1948, in Newton, Iowa, the daughter of Charles and Ramona (Oldfield) Dvorak. At a young age, she moved with her family to Cedar Rapids, where she graduated from Prairie High School in 1966. Following high school she was married to Larry Payn and to this union a son was born. The couple later divorced.
Roslyn worked in Cedar Rapids as an inbound customer service representative. She retired in 2012 from Nordstrom.
She enjoyed Vegas, playing bingo, going to casinos, and playing cards, but most of all she loved being with family.
Roslyn is survived by her son, Dan Payn of Belle Plaine; grandchildren, Seth and Lily; sister, Margie (Dale) Yoder of Iowa City; nieces, Jennifer (husband Craig, son Parker) Stout of Washington, Iowa, Elissa (fiance Jason, daughter Scarlett Mann) Yoder of Columbus, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
