Betsy Evelyn Walsh, 97, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Chicago, Ill., passed away Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019.
Betsy was born March 3, 1921, in Fenton Township, Mich., to Fred and Pauline Steinberg. In 1945, she married Laurence Walsh.
In addition to her husband, parents and sister, Rosemary, she was proceeded in death by her daughter, Laurel Preston.
She is survived by her sons, Paul and Kelly Walsh; son-in-law, Craig Preston; grandchildren, Glen Dargy (Tracy) and Sarah Walsh; great-grandchildren, Noah, Hanna (Matthew), Seth and Faith.
Please join us in a Celebration of Life service for Betsy E. Walsh at Saturday, Jan. 5, 10:30 a.m. at Oakland Church of the Nazarene, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
