Balster, Leslie
Leslie Balster, 89, of Scotch Grove, died Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009, at his home in Waterloo following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday at the Center Junction Presbyterian Church, with interment in the North Madison Pioneer Cemetery. The Rev. Al Polito will officiate at the services. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Goettsch Funeral Home, Monticello.

Surviving is his wife, Wilma; four children, Lynn Liontos of Eugene, Ore., Steve Balster of Seattle, Dr. David (Barb) Balster of Monticello, and Susan (Yorgos) Zazas of Miami; and two grandsons, Brian and Kevin Balster.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his first wife, Jean McNeilly Balster.
Les worked for and later owned and operated Balster Implement and Parts Co. his whole life.
