Breitsprecher, Harold H.
Harold H. Breitsprecher, 91, of Hazleton, died Friday morning, May 20, 2011, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Funeral services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 25, at First Presbyterian Church, Hazleton, with the Rev. Duane Olsen officiating. Visitation: 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Oelwein, and one hour before services Wednesday at the church. Burial: Farmersburg-Wagner Cemetery, Farmersburg, at a later date.
Harold is survived by his wife, Helen; children, Mary Lou (Kurt) Cosselman of Oelwein, Dave Willford of Dubuque, Jane Lillibridge of Jesup, Cal “Bud” Anderman (Carol Zingg) of Hiawatha, Clyde “Butch” Anderman (Debbie Mayer) of Huntsville, Ala., and Sue (Loren) Corcoran of Albia; 18 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; three great-great- grandchildren; and two brothers, Kenneth (Pat) Breitsprecher, Farmersburg, and Lloyd (Ilaverne) Breitsprecher of Merrill, Wis.
A memorial fund has been established for Hazleton Fire Department and EMTs, an Oelwein High School Scholarship Fund and the University of Iowa Children's Hospital.
