Bartels, Scott R.
Scott R. Bartels, 51, of Roberts, Ill., formerly of Macomb, Ill., died Jan. 26, 2011, at BroMenn Medical Center in Normal, Ill. Celebration of Scott's new life in heaven will be Saturday, Feb. 5, in Roberts, Ill. A private memorial service will be next week with the Cairy family in Alburnett.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia (Cairy) Bartels; son, Scott Richard Bartels Jr., Alliance, Ohio; stepdaughter, Wesley Ann Grant, West Palm Beach, Fla.; brother, Chan (Cathey) Bartels, Jupiter, Fla.; and sister, Sherrie (Robert) Jennings, Bixby, Okla.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Danny and Debbie Bartels; and sister, Tracy Reidel.
