Hubbard, Kevin
Kevin Hubbard, 52, of Midway City, Calif., formerly of Cedar Rapids, passed away unexpectedly March 13, 2012.
Kevin was born Dec. 26, 1959, in Cedar Rapids, where he grew up and attended Washington High School. He married Leslie Wigger in the spring of 1989. Later he fulfilled his dream of living by the beach and moved to California.
Kevin was a free spirit who lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed motorcycles, biking, fishing, animals, photography, Frisbee and spending time at the beach.
He was a loving father who will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by children, Keith, Erik, Kristie and Mitchell, all of Cedar Rapids; his father, Kenneth; four sisters, Pam (Larry) Cope, Peggy Hubbard, Penny (Derek) Colton and Leslie (Steve) Hess; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, and mother, Patricia (November 2011).
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, at Calvin Sinclair Presbyterian Church, Cedar Rapids.
