DENNIS L. BRAKSIEK
Osage Beach, Mo.
Dennis L. Braksiek, 69, formerly of Cedar Rapids, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2015, at his home in Osage Beach, Mo. A visitation will be Sunday, Oct. 11, at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories in Cedar Rapids from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be Monday, Oct. 12, also at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories beginning at 10:30 a.m.
Dennis L. Braksiek was born July 26, 1946, to Paul and Naomi Braksiek in Belle Plaine, Iowa. He married Jane Dubes on June 26, 1971, in Belle Plaine. Denny worked at First Trust and Savings Bank and most recently for Northwestern Mutual Insurance. He and Jane recently retired to the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri.
He is survived by his wife, Jane; sons, Dr. Robert (Heidi) Braksiek and Andy (Jessica) Braksiek; and six grandchildren.
Denny was preceded in death by his parents.
