Franke, Dexter 'Dick' James
Dexter “Dick” James Franke, 73, of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla., formerly of Superior, Wis., died June 17, 2012, at Twin Cities Hospital, Niceville, Fla. Arrangements with Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, DeFuniak Springs, Fla. A private family celebration of Dexter's life will take place.
Survivors include his wife, three children, two brothers, two sisters and a grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Simrak and Maxine Burgoyne.
Dexter worked for Rockwell Collins as an aerospace engineer for more than 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, oil painting, traveling and taking walks on the beach.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to the American Heart Association or Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
