Schindler, Phyllis Ann (Beach)
Phyllis Ann (Beach) Schindler, 80, of Marion, died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2011, at Willow Gardens Care Center in Marion. Funeral Services: 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 28, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Marion. Family will greet friends one hour before to services Friday at the church. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion.
Survivors include her husband, Milver; children, Bill Schindler and John (Andrea) Schindler; four grandchildren, Dylan, Derek, Bailey and Dalton; and her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by the grandparents who raised her, Mr. and Mrs. William Reep; and a sister, Mary Jane Rose.
Phyllis was born Feb. 14, 1930, in Linn County. She married Milver Charles Schindler in May 1949. Phyllis was a people person who enjoyed knitting, traveling and wintering in Texas.
