JUDITH E. HAMLIN

Judith E. Hamlin, 75, of Mesa, Ariz., peacefully passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2017.
She was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, in 1941 to the proud parents, Joseph A. and Beulah M. Gaskill.
Judy was passionate about her family, her work and her many years of service to the VFW Auxiliary. She retired from Phoenix Transit as transit security officer in 2004. She served as Arizona state president of the VFW Auxiliary from 2006 to 2007.
She is survived by daughters, Tracy Neverman (Jim) and Teresa Swaine, and stepdaughter, Gwen Forman; sons, Charles Hamlin, Scott Hamlin (Ros) and Max Hamlin Jr. (Barbie). She was blessed with 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Max, of 38 years; her sister, Dora Mae Rooks; brother, Joseph A. Gaskill Jr;, son-in-law, Steven Swaine; and great-granddaughter, Kassidy Johnston.
Services will be held Saturday, May 6, at Sun Lakes Chapel, 9240 E. Sun Lakes Blvd. N., Sun Lakes, AZ 85248, with visitation at 2 p.m. and funeral at 4 p.m.
