ZACH MALLISON

Zach William Mallison, 24, of Marion, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, April 20, 2014, following a brief illness. Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 25, at Cornerstone Church, Marion, by Pastor Matt Proctor. The family will greet friends from 9 a.m. until service time Friday at the church. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion.
Survivors include his
parents, William James Mallison and Sharon Jean Kerkman Mallison.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Dawn Kerkman; an aunt, Patty Engelking; and grandparents, Harold and Maxine Kerkman and Bertram and Lex Mallison.
Zach was born Feb. 10, 1990, in Denver, Colo. He worked as a caretaker for the elderly and was a member of Cornerstone Church in Marion. Zach enjoyed fishing and camping. He was always smiling. Zach loved people and animals and especially loved his dogs.
Memorials may be directed to the Cedar Valley Humane Society in Zach's memory.
