Nadine Marugg, 82, died Friday, April 14, 2017, at the Monticello Nursing and Rehabiliation Center following a brief illness.
Private graveside services will be held in Hopkinton Cemetery at a later date. Goettsch Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Nadine Marie Kerkman was born Sept. 18, 1934, in Newhall, Iowa, the daughter of Carl and Lydia Krantz Kerkman. Nadine attended Newhall schools. She later worked as an in-home health care aide.
Nadine married John Marugg on June 17, 1989, at St. John Lutheran Church, Newhall. The couple lived in Hopkinton until they moved to the Monticello Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. John preceded her in death on Feb. 22, 2014.
