Norm Goodell was born on Sept. 16, 1945, in Vinton, Iowa, to his parents, Harold and Faye Goodell. He graduated from Vinton High School in 1963. Norm married the love of his life, Elsie, in 1965. He worked proudly at Collins Radio for 37 years as a shipping supervisor. His hobbies included fishing every chance he could get, collecting chiming clocks, and small-engine repair. Norm was a member of the Model A club with his prized "Molly." He enjoyed wintering in Florida. Norm lent a helping hand to many neighbors over the years. His family will remember his love of dancing, being around family and friends, and smoking his pipe on the porch.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the family. In turn, they will make a contribution to one of Norm's favorite organizations.
