Level, Marcia L.
Marcia L. Level, 72, of 3545 E Ave. NW, Apt. 12, Cedar Rapids, passed away Friday, April 20, 2012, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha. Memorial Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, by Chaplain Joe Kane. Inurnment: Linwood Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, Cameron (Angel) Walker of Toddville and Guerin Walker of West Virginia; one grandson, Jordan Walker; one sister, Linda (Joseph) Jordan Sweeney of Cape Cod, Mass.; aunt, Maxine Gordon of Cedar Rapids; cousin, Richard Steffens of Illinois and Florida; many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; and good friends, Mike and Larry.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy Lois (Kunz) and Soren Clifford Hansen; and her husband, Fred Level.
Marcia was born Aug. 1, 1939, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She married Robert Walker and later divorced. She later married Fred Level. Marcia worked for Armstrongs, Killians, Midland Security, the U.S. Post Office and Taco Johns.
She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and the Postal Union. Marcia loved to fish, especially at Spirit Lake. Her greatest joys were her children, gardening, flowers, music, wildlife and reading.
The family extends a special thank you to the hospice nurses at Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy.
Instead of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Marcia's memory.
