Jill Ann Jordan was born May 19, 1964, to Richard and Marilyn (Frick) Jordan in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Jill attended elementary and junior high school in Cedar Rapids until her family moved to Nashua in 1978. She graduated with the class of 1982 from Nashua High School, where she played on the volleyball, basketball, track and softball teams. Jill also participated in drama, speech and choir. She attended some college at NIACC in Mason City and previously worked at Comp Systems (Burling House) and at the IOOF Home in Mason City as a CNA/ CMA.
She was a fanatic about the Dallas Cowboys, loved collecting koala bears, frogs and the Pillsbury Doughboy, and you could always find her with a Diet Pepsi in her hand and a contagious smile on her face. She truly enjoyed the elderly, young children and animals, especially her treasured and beloved dog, Eli. He was indeed her child.
She had been a member of the Rebekah Lodge and Clear Lake Evangelical Free Church, where she was involved in the choir and helped with the children's youth group.
Jill had a deep love for her nieces and nephews, Nichole, Melissa, Angela, Mason, Tyler, Kylie, Hannah and Dakota; great-nieces and great-nephews, Clayton, William, Abigail, Harley and Ivory; and the most recent addition to the family, Baby Colten, whom she hadn't had a chance to meet yet.
Jill is survived by her father, Richard of Nashua; brother, Jerry (Chris) of Swisher; two sisters, Julie (Loren) Becker of Shellsburg and Jeannie (Tom) Laube of Nashua; many cousins and many treasured friends who she thought of as family.
Preceding her in death were her mother, Marilyn, who she couldn't wait to be with again, along with her grandparents and aunt, Connie, who were also there to greet her at the gates of heaven.
