Jill Marie Woods, 52, of Springville, passed away Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016. Visitation: 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 8, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Marion, with a Scripture service beginning at 3 p.m. Funeral services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, at St. Isidore Catholic Church, Springville. Burial: Springville Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Al Woods of Springville; her daughters, Stephanie (John) Van Roekel of West Des Moines and Ali Woods of Windsor Heights; her grand-daughters, Holland and Heide Van Roekel of West Des Moines; her mother, Betty Bollard of Pocahontas; mother-in-law, Shirley Woods; her siblings, Joan Dewall, Jer Bollard, John (Dawn) Bollard, Jim (Susanne) Bollard, Jeff (Betty) Bollard; brothers-in-law, Mark (Laurie) Woods and John Woods; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Hank Bollard; father-in-law, James Woods; and sister-in-law, Lori Bollard.
Jill was born Sept. 4, 1963, in Pocahontas, Iowa, to Hank and Betty (Hudek) Bollard. She married Al Woods on Sept. 3, 1988, in Cedar Rapids. Jill was an active member in the Springville community. She was employed at the Springville Co-Operative Telephone Association and owned Woody's One Stop in Springville from 2002 to 2012.
Jill was a member of the Springville Legion Auxiliary and St. Isidore Catholic Church. She loved her Springville Orioles, but her greatest loves of all were her family and friends.
She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Springville Sports Boosters and UnityPoint Hospice.
