MELODY CLARK

Melody Ann (Shoop) Clark, 55, of Hopkinton, passed away unexpectedly in her home on Dec. 26, 2014. A private memorial will take place at a later date. Morgan Funeral and Cremation Choices in Mount Vernon is supporting her family and friends through this loss.
Melody was born Sept. 9, 1959, to Wilburn Shoop and Lois (Shoop) Shipley in Waterloo. Melody moved to Lisbon at a young age and was raised by her mom and stepfather, Wayne Shipley. She attended school in Lisbon and later received her GED.
Melody is survived by her daughter, Kelly (Adam) Peterson of Hopkinton; her three grandchildren, Cameron, Samantha and Hallie; a brother, Bill (Lori) Shoop of Stanwood; a sister, Sharon (Tom) Kendall of Waterloo; and her stepfather, Wayne Shipley of Lisbon. She also is survived by her three feline friends.
Melody was preceded in death by her sister, Bonnie Lingo; her brother, Denny Hampton; and her parents.
Melody enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, working with animals, and caring for her garden.
