Stephen Dwight Corkery, 70, of Quasqueton, died at his home June 24, 2015.
He was born Nov. 14, 1944, in Independence, the son of Dwight John and Gladys Martha (Grover) Corkery.
Survivors include seven brothers, Dan (Mary) Corkery and David (Brenda) Corkery, both of Rowley, Ric (Debbie) Corkery, Craig (Vicki) Corkery, Dennis (Tami) Corkery and Gary (Theresa) Corkery, all of Independence, and Rob (Corrine) Corkery of Walker; six sisters, Cathy (Cal) Struchen of Toddville, Pat (Bill) Offerman of Lamont, Mary (Gary) Gallagher of Fairfax, Linda (Mike) Hayward and Shelly (Dave) Tilley, both of Independence, and Janette (Andy) Hopkins of Brandon; and his special friend, Florence Ives of Quasqueton.
Memorial services: 11 a.m. June 27, White Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation: 3 to 8 p.m. June 26 at the funeral home, where a parish rosary begins at 3 p.m., and a military service at 7 p.m.
