Hundreds of people involved in altercation, one person stabbed

Police are investigating an early morning altercation at a Cedar Rapids gas station.
Police tell us it happened around 2:30 a.m. Sunday at the Road Ranger Gas Station on First Avenue East and 15th Street northeast. Police say hundreds of people were at the gas station when several fights started. At least one person was stabbed.
A witness tells TV9 that the Road Ranger was temporarily shut down and at least 10 police cars were on the scene. Cedar Rapids Police, the Linn County Sheriff's Department and Marion Police all aided in breaking up the fights.
More details are expected to be released Monday.
