Turner, Jeane M.
Jeane M. Turner, 69, of Marion, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, June 13, 2012. Funeral Mass: 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Inurnment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids, is in charge of the arrangements.
She was born in Edgewood, Iowa, on April 11, 1943, to Matilda and Francis Theisen.
She is survived by her husband, Gary, of 47 years. Also surviving are daughters, Kathy Turner (Kris) of Fort Worth, Texas, and Karla Dalton (Dave) of Central City; two sons, Duane Turner of Centennial, Colo., and Dennis Turner (Heather) of Papillion, Neb.; seven grandchildren, Nathan, Sarah, Darah, Aaron, Alec, Alyssa and Zachary; a sister and brother, Ann and Francis of Edgewood; a sister, Dorothy Strang (Jerry) of Cascade; a sister, LuAnn Wessel (John) of Colesburg; and a brother, Richard Theisen of Wichita, Kan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Donald; a sister-in-law, Joan; and a half brother, Milo.
She retired from Wells Fargo Bank after 21 years of service.
Jeane enjoyed fishing, bingo and spending time with family.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Memorials may be directed to the family in lieu of flowers.
