LeMaster, Marlin 'Dale'
Marlin “Dale” LeMaster, 74, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, July 18, 2010, peacefully at his home. Dale will be cremated with a private burial later in Thompson, Iowa. A celebration of Dale's life will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. August 8 at the City Beat in Cedar Rapids.
Dale was born Sept. 22, 1935, in Albia, Iowa, to Ray and Flossie LeMaster. Following a tour of duty in the Iowa National Guard, Dale eventually opened Office Enterprises in Cedar Rapids. He was an avid golfer quick with a joke.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Teri Perkins Doyle and her family; his children, Kevin, Linda Buchenau and Doug; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother and two sisters.
