Anita Evelyn Webb, 82, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy. Celebration of Life services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 22, at Salem United Methodist Church, located at 3715 33rd Ave. SW. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. Monday until service time. Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids is handling Anita's arrangements.
Anita was born April 12, 1935, in Cedar Falls, the daughter of Benjamin and Vyrna (Lynch) Cashner. She graduated from Rowley High School and later attended Iowa State Teachers College in Cedar Falls. Anita was united in marriage to Francis Webb in 1958 in Walker. Anita and Francis owned and operated Webb's Antiques in Cedar Rapids. After Francis' passing, she still attended antique shows along with her good friend, Nola Siver. In her later years, she enjoyed going to Tama on casino trips with her friends.
Anita is survived by her daughters, Rosemary Campbell and husband, Bill, and Joyce Coleman and good friend, Cathy LeVelle; one grandson, David (Lorretta) Harding; brother, Bob Cashner; sister, Susan Knott; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Cue; as well as her many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two children in infancy; her sister, Sylvia (James) Milbach; her brother, Benny Cashner; a sister-in-law, Judy Cashner; and a brother-in-law, Greg Knott.
