Weekley, Beryl L.
Beryl L. Weekley of Cedar Rapids died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2010, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 16, at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Cedar Rapids. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion.
Survivors include her children, Barbara (Bob Hintz) Farmer and Sally Shannon; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; her stepchildren, Rosalee Briner, Gail Coleman and David Weekley; and many stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter, Susan Camp; one brother; and one sister.
Beryl was born in Waukesha, Wis., the daughter of Herman and Goldie (Scholes) Hoffman. Her husband, Everett Weekley, died in January 2000. Beryl volunteered at the Indian Creek Nature Center for many years, as well as at the EAA Convention in Oshkosh, Wis., and at Mercy Medical Center.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Indian Creek Nature Center, 6665 Otis Rd. SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52403.
